Please explain…

Why the dentist has to cost so much? Why our regular healthy insurance can’t cover dentistry?

Mike broke off a tooth and tomorrow has a dentist appointment. I asked just for an estimate, $600.00. WHAT!!! Mike leaves for school in 10 days and we are saving every single penny to get him there, set up and then he has to wait 3 weeks before his living check comes in. OUCH!!!

Oh well at least it happened here at home and not in 10 days when he’s in a new place.

Hope you’re having a great day. It’s cold and was snowing this morning, now sunny but windy and still cold. Minnesota, shorts one weekend winter coats the next week.

Blessings everyone!

I agree why do the dentist charge so much. I lost a front tooth about 2 years ago. It needs to be replaced as it does not make for a very nice smile. The dentist I went to wanted $15,000.00 to do the work. No joking!!! I therefore have not gotten it done. The solution, found another dentist this past month. He is charging $3,200.00 to make a bridge. Still alot but what a difference. Wonder how they can get away with it. Sometimes it pays to shop around. So hopefully in a few months I will be able to smile again with a nice smile and one that will not scare anyone. lol
Hope the pain and the cost of his tooth will be reduced.

Oh yes. The dentist. It's like that everywhere! I'm sorry this happened but, like you said, it's better with you than off at school!
