Week 2, day 1…

Well I did it. I got up at 6:00, was out the door at 6:15 and walked/jogged until 7:00 and here’s what I got…

2.53 miles total and 1/2 of that aerobic jogging/trotting.

Now the rest of the day is the normal stuff and then tonight I am hoping to do it all over again. Now if I could just keep it up. I am a morning person when I have a job to do, like my bus driving up at 4:45 and daycare when it’s early but to get up and move my butt just because I know very well I need to, well that’s a different story …. but I am determined to loss what I’ve gained back and to get healthy and toned. Now to do 20 minutes of strength exercises. I know I won’t be able to do it all in a 20 minute window but I will do 10 minutes here and 10 minutes there and get that done too. I really should of done it as soon as I got back instead of chores right away. Maybe I’ll try that tomorrow.

Now to track and keep the crap out of my mouth. Breakfast is suppose to be cold cereal. toast and banana’s for the kids, I oh so love cold cereal but I also can’t stop at one bowl so will eat my oatmeal (yes I know it’s higher in calories but it’s so filling I don’t eat anything else until lunch time so I figure that’s a good thing). I have figured out since I don’t do snacks, just not hungry for them and not interested if I stick with 400 calorie meals I get full, I’ve had pretty much what I wanted and there’s just a few extra calories left to eat a piece of fruit or something after dinner but before 8:00 when I refuse to eat past.

So it’s onward and upwards (hopefully downwards on the scale…well see in August). Take care my friends and have an awesome day!

Awesome job getting up and getting out for exercise.

I'm a morning person and love to have everything done before my family gets up.

We are on a similar mission!

You are so determined. Go Julie!
I'm sure you'll see a loss at the end of summer!

You are doing a great job, Julie! I'm on track too, and happy to be moving in the right direction. I left a comment on Michele's blog that it would be fun to get together sometime for lunch or a cup of coffee--since we're all fellow Minnesotans. Have a great week!

My problem is that, filling or not, I keep putting food in my mouth. It's kind of like smoking except with food instead of cigarettes. Driving me NUTS.
