Maren from Cow to Wow has put out a challenge and I wasn’t going to partake but seeing that I can not kick the sweets from my last period I have got to do something so starting tomorrow morning (from November 28th to December 18th) no more sugar. Now I don’t mean like what’s in fruit or what’s in my oatmeal or that kind of stuff, I mean candy and cookies and treats. Now I really don’t eat lots of the stuff but enough that I’m craving it. So tomorrow it’s time to give that sugar a kick in the pants. I know that the first few days are going to just drive me nuts but I can do this. Thank you Maren for this challenge. Good luck everyone that has excepted this challenge…like Caron.
Have a great day. I’m off to the gym at 5:30, daycare at 8:00 and a house that has exploded from the long weekend and guests, plus I haven’t had Joss for a week so lots of play time and cuddle time. Take care my friends, blessings!!!

Go Julie!! Kick that candy to the curb!
Good for you for knowing when you need some extra help! I know you can do this. I hope you have a wonderful day and don't feel the sugar withdrawals too painfully.
Lots of success with kicking the sugar habit! I'll be cheering you on!
I found that it didn't take long at all to get it out of my system and, once it was out, I have never craved it again. Apparently, we only crave it when we eat it. So, not eating it means not craving it! Good luck!
Sugar is crazy during holiday time. I checked out this challenge, but accepted that I'd fail myself in it. I am a holiday baker and I always have to try the treats I give to people. Terrible, I know. I am so happy that you are able to see it and feel the confidence to conquer the challenge. Way to go!!!!
You'll do great. Yesterday was much easier for me as I just concentrated on staying within my allowed points and eating healthy.
For me, eating sugary treats, cereal and peanut butter just makes me want more. I have tried but I am unable to "just eat moderately" when it comes to those things.
That's a great challenge for sweet-toothers this time of year, when the cookies/candies/pies/cakes/sugary stuff comes out in full regalia. OMG, the gauntlet is upon us!!!!!
Go, you!
I'm thrilled that you accepted the challenge! It's not forever, but it does help in kicking a bad trend! The first few days aren't fun, but then it's smooth sailing. :)
Good luck with the challenge Julie! I need to cut back after the Thanksgiving sweets! Hope you have a wonderful week!
Blessings,
Jill
I am in on this challenge.... thanks for posting it.
Sounds like awesome dedication! Kick it in the right place, my friend!
What a great idea!! Sound like it would make the Christmas season a little bit easier, as you'll be out of the habit of eating sweets. :)
