Grandma and Mike….

2012-02-07_17-38-28_228

My mama has three terrific grandsons. Each one she loves in her own way. Each one as special and great as the other. But last night Mike joined mama and I out for supper and a movie. He was working in Brainerd and called when he finished up and grandma invited him to join us. I had a blast having two of my most favorite people there. We never get to go out often enough so when our time does come it is awesome.

We ate at Pizza Hut (I counted every single calorie I had, which was 2 slices of cheese pizza minus the crust and 3 glasses of water) and then went to see Extremely Loud and incredibly Close. Now it’s not a movie I would want to see again but it wasn’t a terrible one either. But just having the two together last night I could of stared at a wall and of been happy.

Just had to share. Hope you’re all having a great day. I am bus driving and day caring and also went and visited my grandma and this even my husbands aunt in the NH. So a busy day here. I’ll have an update for you tomorrow for the E2E challenge.

Take care my friends and have a blessed afternoon.

It's so good for the family to get together, and good for you visiting your grandma. Adult children don't always pay enough attention, and it means a lot to the elders in the family. They often spend too much time alone. It sounds like you had a good time.

Sounds like good times. I wanted to see that movie, it doesn't sound like it was all that good but son & grandma/mom look great;-)
