E2E Challenge update…

E2E: Emerge Transformed!14 Weeks to a New You!

So another week has passed. I would like to know why time has to fly by so fast. I always thought I was busy before but now with driving bus full time and daycare and …you all know…time flies by even faster.

I didn’t lose or gain thing this week, holding at 180.2. Measurements haven’t changed either and there’s no way I can fit into my challenge suit yet but I’m not giving up. Exercise, well it’s almost non-existent. I did get two runs in this week but that’s about all.

I have been writing Casey and we’ve got a few more things in common then we knew. It’s been great getting to know her. She has been awesome for supporting me during all this hard times. Thank you Casey from the bottom of my heart.

I’m not able to read much lately so haven’t gotten any further in any of my books. I am excited that I’ll be getting a new magazine, Weight Watchers. Maybe there will be some new recipes I can try.

Just a short update.

I hope you all did great this week. I’ll be by to see you all as time allows. Take care my friends and God Bless!!

Two runs is nothing to be ashamed of, Julie. I wish I could say the same. You're very busy and some days the "me" time is just not there. I love the WW magazine. I have never subscribed, but always pick it up and take a look when one crosses my path. You're doing great...maintenance is important, too.

Two runs is great and the best thing is that you're not giving up. Isn't it fun to learn about things in common with other bloggers? Makes days more interesting and a little more charming in some ways.

You're.Worth.It.

Just keep fighting!

I think you are doing good with your exercise since your extra time is practically null and void. I keep trying to get more in too. :)

You are doing great, Julie. Hang in there and take care of yourself. I appreciated all the support you gave me today. Please remember me tomorrow as I see my MD about the lymph nodes. Hugs.

You are doing great! Two runs is a success and something that some people can never, ever do. Give yourself the credit you deserve!

You already reached so much, that you should be ok with one week no loss. It will come off earlier or later. It's so good to read your blog and hear your happiness through it. Good that you are not feeling to bad anymore.
Casey IS a great person. I know her personally. Her sister is my age and we are very good friends. The whole family is just very nice! You should get to know Casey in person some day.

I so happy you and your buddy are getting to know each other and are supporting each other.

Have a great week.

Glad you are hanging in there. I see maintaining for a week as a "practice run" for later. It´s something I´m actually more afraid of, than losing.
Have a great week Julie!

Maintaining is fabulous, especially when you are too busy to do much else & 2 runs is better than none so you are doing great!

Oooh! Oooh! *Frantically waving hand in the air* I know why time goes faster as we get older!! There was a program about it on PBS, in relationship to Alzheimers and aging.

Time doesn't actually go faster, but our perception of time does. When we're children, everything is new to us, and because of this, the brain records every minute detail of every single event. As we get older and start repeating events in our lives, the brain says 'Oh! I know this! I don't have to record so many details.' Why? Because like a regular computer server, there is only so much space available for storage in the brain. As this goes on, our perception of time is shortened, because as the brain recalls events, it associates more details with a longer period of time passing and fewer details with a shorter period of time passing. Time is the same, but it feels faster as we get older.

This also explains why people who's brains are affected by injury or disease forget the immediate past, but can still recall vivid details from childhood. There are fewer details recorded in the brain on current events, so if that section of brain cells gets damaged, EVERYTHING is gone, whereas if an area of the brain where childhood memories gets damaged, the person can still recall some things because so MUCH information was recorded.

There you go. Your biology lesson for the day.

Two runs are two more than I could do. Sometimes holding the line with weight is a good thing. Iknow that driving bus full time is time consuming and a job that not everyone could do. You're doing well!

Julie,
Hang in there I hear you when you say time flies. I have been going nonstop for so long that the last two days have been a refresher in what life is about. I hope you have a great week and are able to get more exercise in just because you like it. I wished I did.
