Challenge update…

It was not a successful week. I did not lose an ounce. I did not read my book. I only exercised once at the gym and twice at the house. If you read my blog you will see I have been busy and just ran out of energy by the end of the day.
The good part, I didn’t gain an anything, I started a new book, Women’s Health, the 40’s and 50’s and I have to say I am learning some stuff I need to about my body and why. I tried the gym and after 90 minutes of working out in the pool my leg hurt for two days so I am thinking I pushed it a bit to much. I did work out at home in-between things and I’ve walked three times about a mile each time at a snails pace but still trying. So it wasn’t an unsuccessful week either.
Just a maintaining week I’d say.
There are those weeks that just aren’t stellar but also not in the thumper and that was mine. I won’t get to my goal if I don’t kick some butt. This week I am just plain and simple out of energy. I think hurting makes you tired and I think having your plate full all the time makes you tired.
So what can I do about all of this not so stellar week? Nothing but I can make next week better.
I hope that you all had a successful week. I hope you all kept to whatever plan is made for you. I hope that you learned something from your books. I hope that you lost a pound or two or even more.
Take care my friends and have an awesome weekend.

Just make sure you don't push that leg too hard. Take the time to heal or you'll be out longer next time! You still have time to get into that dress!

On this journey of life not every day can be a mountaintop, we have to spend some time in the valleys. Just don't get discouraged and don't push too hard. Take care.

Be careful with over extending your exercise. You will get your work outs in, just not right now. Rest and heal. that book sounds like a keeper. Beautiful, beautiful fall weather these last few days. Stars just fabulous at night. Have a great weekend!!

Taking care of your leg is necessary for having success in the weeks to come. Consider this a pit stop of sorts.. :)

You were very busy this week, so I think you did good. A maintaining week is sometimes followed by a bigger loss, so I´m sure you´ll be fine.
Have a good weekend!!

Maintaining is always better than gaining. My mantra lately...

With my supersalty day today, I am fearing a gain on the scale. Which would be less eerie than seeing 180.4 yet AGAIN...we'll see come wake-up time. I'm just about ready to hit the sack. Busy day. Achy joints from dancing for a couple hours. Ouchie. Aging stinks.

Heal up, girl, so you can move your body, move your body, MOVE it without fear or pain or worries.

On we go...

A maintaining week is far better than a gaining week! Trust me.... Hope you are able to fit some more exercise in, take care of yourself!

We do what we can! If you were really tired perhaps your body needed you to take it a little bit easier this week- you still got out there when you could so give yourself some credit okay? :) Hope you had a great weekend and that next week IS stellar!

You know what? During this process we must learn what it takes to maintain & that can also change as we move throughout this process so it's great to have weeks where that's all you do cause it sometimes gives your body a chance to gear up for losing more & you can learn what does or doesn't work when it comes to maintaining:-) I hope that things get less chaotic for ya & your leg feels better soon:-)

Hey Julie!

It's a week - just like the one before and the ones that follow. For now, concentrate on healing and reinforcing your healthy eating habits. You're going to be just fine!!

I'm happy you're not patronizing yourself. I love the understanding here of yourself. Good girl, Julie.

(This is Viju, by the way. Just a new name.)
