Apples….

I traded 3 dozen eggs for more apples. YEAH!!! Though we have plenty sliced apples and apples sauce put up I decided today to try and make apple jelly and apple caramel jam. I also am making an upside down apple cake. Everything from scratch so am expecting the house to smell awesome and everything to taste great. Well I can expect them too, we’ll just really see when it’s done. So far here’s what I got…

Hope you’re having a great day. We are. It’s warming up in the house and it’s really beginning to smell awesome and my mama and daddy are coming over in a bit. So maybe they’ll try the apple cake and love it. Here’s hoping.

Have a great day. I’ll share how the jam/jelly comes out…hopefully not syrups. Blessings!!

Yum, I've been baking with Apples for the last two weeks, I made caramel apple dumplings last night and they were divine. I am going to get another round of apples this weekend at the Orchard and make some homemade apple butter.

Your cake looks delish!

Apples are one of my top five fruits. I made a cranberry salad yesterday with lots of chopped apple in it. Yum. I dare not make cake. I would eat too much.
