Mike reads my blog….and….

I love that he does that and you know what I love more? When he comments. Mike says it’s his way of keeping track of what I forget to tell him and share with him. I try to tell him each day what we’ve done but sometimes my attention is on a few other things and I forget. Last night he saw grandma’s (my mama’s) sewing room. He was amazed it looks like it does now. It use to be a sewing/craft, catch all room and now it’s all mama’s (except the closet but that’s cuz I was mean and won’t let them put any clothes in there anymore so we filled it with storage totes but the doors closes and it still feels nice).
Only 12 more days till Mike is home. Oh guys you should feel my heart and head and tummy, I am so ready for Mike to be here. He’ll be here for a week and I know that the time will fly by faster then anything but I did manage to take a couple days off to be with just him and we have some plans for a couple days and evenings. I didn’t plan the full time, I wanted him to come and go as he pleased also.
Did anyone notice anything on my blog this morning? I have surpassed my goal of running/walking this year and I still have 5 months to go. YEAH!!! At the beginning of the year I thought that 650 miles was a huge amount and how was I ever going to do that. Well I did it and more to come. I’ll have to make a bigger goal for next year.
Okay, it’s time for all my wee ones to have breakfast and then it’s a gorgeous day out there so we are going to spend it playing, hiking and catching bugs. Rachel goes into 7th grade this year and everyone knows the science teacher wants them to have 50 different insects to pin and identify so we’re working on that.
Blessings my friends. Have an awesome and terrific day!!!

I love the fact that Mike reads your blog. It is such a special love between a mother and son. I hope these 12 days just fly by for you and time slows down when he is here. I know it's just wishful thinking. But that is my prayer for you my dear friend. Gracie

Congrats for not only meeting but exceeding your goal!! Can't wait to see how many miles you end up with for the year:-)

Way to go on passing your mileage goal for the year! Don't slack off now though. Maybe bump it to 1,000? You can do it.
