Alive and walking…

I should really be doing some exercises also but I’m not. But I have walked 15 miles so far this week and am taking today off and then a slow stretching walk tomorrow and my 5K with Kim and her daughter on Saturday. We had a practice walk on Wednesday and we really did good. 51 minutes for our first real walk together. We’ll see if we can beat that on Saturday for the Fireman’s Relief fundraiser.

I have been busy with the kids, canning, gardening, parents and more. I did go to the chiropractor yesterday, I hurt just so bad so needed to do something. He stays my leg has got to have a clogged vein even though the ultrasound didn’t find it. Since they only did behind my knee he figures it’s either above or below where they checked. That would explain all the pain and swelling but not help it any since he can’t help me and the doctor didn’t find it. We’ll just hope it clears itself up sooner or later without any problems. The rest of me is feeling better except my middle back and left arm, he said I pulled a muscle there so it’ll be a bit before that is better. That’s what I get for shoveling rock all weekend and even more last night but we are done…at least for now. Next project…well I think there isn’t one at least for the moment. I do need to till the garden again and mow tomorrow evening but tonight I am taking the night off and taking daddy to Music in the Park.

I have my goal idea for this weeks challenge but will share it with you on Sunday when I do my update. It’s a big goal and one that will take energy to accomplish but I know I can do it as long as I can plan just a little bit. I have more goals to set too come September but first I need to know what exactly I will be doing once school starts. I should know something by the week of the 20th, at least I’m hoping to know at least some. I’ll share as it goes along.

So take care my friends and have a blessed rest of the week. There’s never a dull moment here but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t ever have to worry about being bored and really neither do the kids cuz if I’m busy….they’re busy.

I've been walking and that's it. And I"m not walking very far because I'm sick right now. UGH. I hope to start my synergy workouts next week. It's just hard with Birdie here. I don't like to do anything in front of anyone. Stupid, I know. But that's how I am. I hope that isn't a clot clogging that vein. You really have to watch those- you don't want it to loosen up and head for your heart.

Sorry you're having the pain/leg issue. But walking IS exercise, good exercise for the heart, body, mood, and mind. :D Here's to you being better and me getting back to walking. Later, babes.

I hope your leg starts feeling better soon...it's frustrating when there isn't a fix to things.
