B Complex, –4 pounds relost and working on moving my butt….just checking in…

First, thank you everyone for understanding and for your support and even thoughts and ideas to help me.

So I haven’t dealt with the depression or hormonal or whatever it is that going on however I’m sorta just trying to make it past it all and see where it all leads. I am having a few more up moments then down which is a huge plus. I have started taking a B Complex Vitamin to help with my energy and concentration. This is only day 3 but I don’t seem to be dragging as much. We’ll see, oh I also started Omega 3. I know that they sure can’t hurt me so giving them a chance.

Yep, I have lost 4 lbs but it really doesn’t count because you know how many times I have lost these same 4 pounds in the past 2 years? I am thinking at least 3 times. Well hopefully this will be the last time because it’s stupid and dumb and …. well just stupid to have to do this again.

So if you look at my bunny on the top you’ll see that even though I feel like crap I am still moving my butt. I have made it just about to the 1/2 way point in my miles for the year and we are just in the beginning of our 5th month. I haven’t been doing any strength exercises though and really need to get back into them. Maybe soon I hope.

Remember what I told you about my not wanting to do our Fit City 5K? Mike isn’t here to be with me and I just didn’t feel able. Well I’m not going to compete, not ready for that, but I am going to do the fitness 5K. Along with my best friend, my greatest daycare family and a venture crew member. They are going to be there to help me over my first hurtle and you know once that’s completed just maybe my mindset will be in a better place.

My wee ones have been a blast this past couple of weeks. They seem to know that Julie needs that extra hug or that extra smile or just asking her to play or go and do. This past Friday there was no school and Joss was home with her mama so that meant I had 3 bigger wee ones so we went fishing. They caught about 30 sunnies and brought home 15 of them. Since I’m not the greatest at cleaning them my daddy came over and took care of that. Then instead of snack for snack time we had supper and then when the kids went home either a light or late supper and even just a snack would hold them. It really was a great day, even with Anton walking off the dock and getting soaking wet. We never fish in deep water, nothing more than 2’ but it still enough to make him wet and scared and then cold. We just packed up and came home and I gave Anton a bath and Rachel fixed corn muffins, Abbey made celery with PB and while he soaked and cleaned up (you can’t help a 7 year old you know) I fixed the fish. Anyways some pictures.

Mike is doing awesome in Wyoming. He aced his first big test and gained a ton of confidence. He is having truck troubles but Jim sent him out an alternator and some extra tools and I sent him a few dollars and his calculator (he has one of those mega expensive ones when he was taking advanced math and it’s helping with some equations they are working on now). Last night was the first time him and his roommate got together to do something….can you guess what it was? It was having a fried chicken dinner. Tomorrow is a big day for him also, it’s his first Job Fair day. They don’t have to wear their suits but have to be well dressed and groomed. He’s excited to see what it’s all about and to see where he stands with the upcoming job market.

So all in all I’m working at this having an empty nest. At least mine isn’t exactly empty with having daycare kids but it’s not the same as my own either. Gotta tell you Jim and I are working hard too. He’s coming in a bit earlier at night and I’m spending time in the garage with him. Trying!

It’s going guys. I’m not going to post again this week but I’ll check in again next week. I have been stopping by a few of you to check your progress, your life, your busyness. Keep going guys. Keep doing what’s best for you and your family. Remember to trust in the Lord and he’ll see you through it all. I’m working really hard on that one.

Good Better Best, always do your best until your good is better and your better is best. I taught that to Rachel is past evening and also…

Always do your best and let the Lord do the rest. My daddy taught me this one and I’ve shared it along to anyone that will listen.

My life is a …..

So please check back and we’ll just see where this all leads. Take care my friends. Blessings to you all!!

Always do the best, the Lord will do the rest! LOVE that!!
Something to remember and live by. Glad you wrote that for me.
I'm happy to hear you are taking some supplements and hope they do the trick to make you feel better. Time helps to heal some "wounds" too.
Hugs to you Julie!

I'm glad to hear Mike is doing well. I know it must be hard to have him so far away, but it sounds like he has found a groove already, good for him!

Julie, I'm glad things are going so well and Mike is settling in just fine. Your babies look like they had so much fun fishing, and I'll bet your dad didn't even mind cleaning fish. The supplements can't hurt, you're right, and have you had your D3 checked? I did, it was low, and I have never done anything that made me feel so much better. Things change as we get older, my dear. Thanks for checking in!
