That is what your jeans were, too. A good reminder that we are a work in progress.

My husband's family heated with coal when he was growing up. They only heated one room because fuel was so expensive (in the netherlands). We are spoiled with central gas heat, but we do keep our thermostat down at 60-62 or so during the day. That is why we wear thermals!!

Have fun with Mike!Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16422138891797605472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2769490957271846400.post-32709760444401717082012-01-16T07:25:21.096-06:002012-01-16T07:25:21.096-06:00No coal here so I can't help much with that. ...No coal here so I can't help much with that. That would put a uniqueness to it as an artistic medium. Art can be like "Rorschach" or even looking at the clouds and seeing dragons. You could look at the pieces see if they can be constructed maybe into rustic garden receptacles using a darkened mortar like they do with brick walls? Or paint the small ones and embed them in cement in your garden like a mosaic. Or in the same fashion you could use a cement form and place them on top in an artsy fashion to make a cool barbeque pit. I am sure if you look at them as an art medium you could think of many things.

Bloggie love.
