The same thing sort of happened to me a while back. I bought a book about training to run and soon found that my hips and knees are too far gone to allow me that dream. I was at a much lower weight than I am now and it was still just too much for me. Walking sometimes causes pain but I can manage that for a while. I can at least do 30 minutes a day when I'm motivated. That has to count for something. Sometimes things just don't work out the way we plan. I hope you will hang in there and not get discouraged. You have so much going on in your life. Tackle that first and then reevaluate how you want to get healthy. You have done well with the challenge. You should be proud of yourself.Karen Butler Oglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06467675086434536522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2769490957271846400.post-81087290613814524922012-04-05T15:21:22.408-05:002012-04-05T15:21:22.408-05:00I wondered how much Brad got into injuries in his ...I wondered how much Brad got into injuries in his program. Since I didn't finish I never knew. But walking will do it for you, sister. Not as good mentally, but I lost all my weight by walking with just a bit of running to break up the boredom. I hope you can find out what's wrong, though, and I hope it's something that can be fixed.

I agree about the learning during this challenge. I have never been connected with so many health- and nutrition-knowledgeable people. And if anyone asks, the others jump in to suggest help. I hope we can all stay in touch when it's over.

Life gets in the way of our best plans sometimes, as you know well. You are handling it well, I think. You are trying to do so many things, and it seems you are succeeding at them, if not what you would like. You are certainly an inspiration to me to try to go with the flow, wherever it takes you.

I hope you have a great rest of the week, Julie!Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15799781800542758688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2769490957271846400.post-55399521790715560502012-04-05T15:13:59.766-05:002012-04-05T15:13:59.766-05:00Hey girl! Or maybe a trainer?Empty Nesterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14060983954463697344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2769490957271846400.post-67812114578139165422012-04-05T13:30:11.799-05:002012-04-05T13:30:11.799-05:00Walking is still good exercise.
