They are like your own children. It’s hard to let them go and the parents are hard to see move on too. It is life, it is my job and I know I’ve done an awesome job when the kids and the parents are crying as they are going out the door. However they’ll be back to visit a few times before totally gone, the attachment stays for a little bit but then it’s time to let go and move on.

Sad and then again, not. Oh those bittersweet moments. Look at little Joss- she looks so sad. I'm sniffling a bit myself. Hey! On a bright note- isn't Mike due in soon? :)
ReplyDeleteThey will always love you as a mother. I remember my own "babysitter" as they were called back then. I did indeed love her as a mother. I wish she was still here for me to hug.
